Travel Club - Mongolia

The 2016 movie, The Eagle Huntress, was nominated for best documentary feature.  The movie featured a 13 year old girl who tries to become the first female eagle hunter in Mongolia.  Inspired by the movie, Gene and Caryn Hollander travelled to Mongolia in September, 2024 where they met and photographed the eagle hunters, their families and their golden eagles.  The Hollanders also travelled to the heart of the Gobi desert to photograph camel herders in the picturesque Kohngor sands.  Come to  the travel club meeting on Wednesday, April 2, at 4:00 to be transported across the globe and back in time.
