About the event
On Tuesday, February 18, Joel Erickson will lead the hike to the Fraesfield Trailhead. Please meet at 8:30 at the clubhouse parking lot.
We will begin by heading west on the Whiskey Bottle Trail to the Dixileta service road, where we hike west to the 118 St. trail and then north to the Latigo trail. From the Latigo Trail we will take a right back onto Whiskey Bottle Trail for a short distance to a left on Turpentine Trail. We will stay on Turpentine for about 1.5 miles before taking a right on Black Hills trail back to the Fraesfield trailhead. There is some elevation on the Whiskey Bottle section but the rest of hike is relatively flat. Joel has done this hike a few times and it is not considered stressful.
Please make sure to bring water, sunscreen, an hat and a snack if you think you will need one.
