Hike Club

January’s hike, led by Steve and Linda McVey, will be on Tuesday, January 21st, leaving from the clubhouse parking lot promptly at 8:30 am. We’ll stay close to home for this one, leaving from the Pima/Dynamite trailhead (28777 N Pima Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85262). We will hike a loop of approximately four miles, with mostly smooth trails. There are some areas where we will walk on rocks with uneven surfaces and a few high steps, but this area is rated easy to moderate.  Among the highlights are a rare, crested Saguaro cactus, an overlook area, and various rock formations. Lunch afterwards is TBD and optional. Be sure to bring plenty of water as there is no potable water at the trailhead.
