Hike Club

Our February hike will be Tuesday, February 17, 3+ miles out and back on the Blue Wash Trail, which is north and east on Cave Creek Road, in the Tonto National Forest.  With the recent Fall and Winter rains there should be water coming over the falls.  This unique desert trail is challenging with some steep sandy downhills and wet, slippery rock areas, but very easy along the sandy flat washes.  Mary and Bruce Van Cleave will be the hike leaders.  We’ll meet at the Clubhouse Parking Lot, carpool and/or caravan from there, leaving promptly by 8:30 am.  Be sure to bring your own water, wear sunscreen, and bring hiking sticks at your discretion.  Please sign up at the Clubhouse or RSVP via text (4i4-378-7996) with your names and phone contact so we can communicate with each other any last minute changes (like weather, cancellations or no shows, etc).  Depending…
