About the event
A debut novel about a lonely, broke 82-year-old man who is mistaken for a missing nursing home resident, Bernard Greer, and takes his place for a second chance at life, family, and community. The story follows Fred as he navigates this mistaken identity, finding unexpected connections and confronting themes of aging, grief, and redemption, all while a caregiver uncovers clues that threaten to expose his secret.
