Clubhouse Conversation - Notes of Encouragement - Joy Bus Diner

The purpose of The Joy Bus is to relieve the daily struggles of homebound cancer patients with a fresh chef-inspired meal and a friendly face. The Joy Bus, a nonprofit organization, delivers meals weekly. Founded in 2011 by Jennifer Caraway, chef and Food Network “Chopped” champion. The organization was created when Jennifer began preparing homemade treats for her friend Joy during her battle with ovarian cancer. Jennifer was inspired to launch the non profit in her honor and today Joy’s legacy lives on through The Joy Bus.

While we have snacks and beverages we will write cards of inspiration. The notecards go into every meal bag that the Joy Bus Diner delivers (at no charge) to home bound cancer patients. The Joy Bus said that their faces light up when the read the notecards.
