About the event
Our first hike for the 2023/2024 season will be on October 19th and will depart out of the Pima-Dynamite Trailhead. Our 4-mile loop will take us on one of the Sonoran Preserve’s newer trails: Axle Grease. We’ll head out on this curvy but easy trail (minimal elevation), break off on a short spur at the midway point to take in a scenic view, and head back on Rock Tank and Hawknest trails back to the parking lot. Meet at the clubhouse at 8:30am and be sure to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water.
