There is no charge for the removal service, but donations are gratefully accepted. The Arizona Herpetological Association (AHA) is a non-profit association that does free reptile removal valley-wide. Our hotline phone number is (480) 894-1625. The Arizona Herpetological Association (AHA) Reptile Removal Hotline -The AHA runs a Volunteer Reptile Removal Hotline as a service to the community at no charge. This is a very important service that the Association is doing for our community. We provide this service for free to the general public. Many times, members of the public are shocked and horrified to find that their city, county, and/or state government does not remove reptiles. They are rescued (and the reptiles are rescued from them) by volunteers from the AHA. Here's how the Hotline works: The AHA Hotline telephone number is distributed to local fire and police departments as well as to state and local animal control departments. Calls to the police and fire departments regarding unwanted reptiles and amphibians in peoples homes or yards are routed to the AHA member living closest to the call. The member goes out and picks up the unwanted reptile or amphibian. The AHA website is: http://www.azreptiles.com/ |
